Health & Safety throughout the transport and logistics industry has made great progress over the years, but we recognise that our workplace still involves some high-risk activities. We have a moral duty to manage all activities effectively so that we can better protect our staff and continue to offer a quality, reputable service.
At Muztrans, we recognise that many of our existing and potential customers are increasingly conscientious when it comes to choosing a provider that can demonstrate a proactive and workable Health & Safety plan.
A safe working environment is a productive environment. This means we can maximise efficiency so that day-to-day costs are minimised, allowing us to remain competitive within the marketplace.
Health & Safety schemes have been regularly implemented across the years so that all Muztrans employees and the general public are kept as safe as possible.
As part of our determination to avoid complacency, we employ the experienced services of Westminster Compliance to carry out Health & Safety audits, as well as working closely with our dedicated Dangerous Goods advisors. Key staff have also undertaken IOSH-certificated training. In addition, we are further registered and licensed as waste carriers with the Environment Agency.
Muztrans is extremely proud of our team of drivers. Every driver is trained to the highest standard and they hold a full range of certifications including Slinger/Signaller ALLMI certifications, CPCS, Safer Urban Driving, and are Crossrail and ADR trained for transporting hazardous material.
All our vehicles are exceptionally well maintained and are inspected on a 6-weekly schedule under the terms of our operating licence. On top of this, we also perform interim inspections to ensure our fleet achieves its optimum performance.
