Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

As a professional transport company we are well aware of the standards and requirements our supply chain expects. We are dedicated to meeting and fulfilling our customers’ needs. To this end, we are extremely proud to hold the highest Gold accreditation to the FORS Scheme.
We would like to briefly introduce you to the scheme and give you an insight into how the scheme could also benefit your company.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accredited scheme encompassing safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. Its purpose is to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving the standards.
FORS encourages operators to take a closer look at their operations and identify areas of strength to be exploited and areas for improvement to be addressed. A successful bronze assessment provides an operator with reassurance that their operation is being run safely, efficiently and in an environmentally sound manner. The FORS logo allows potential customers to readily distinguish FORS operators from other operators.

There are four key areas that are required to meet the FORS Bronze Standards, these are Management, Vehicles, Drivers and Operations. Each area has a set criteria, for which FORS will carry out an audit to determine your understanding and compliance.
Silver requirements are aimed at drastically improving the overall safety of operator’s fleet vehicles which in turn ensures compliance with the Standard for construction logistics (CLOCS): Managing Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) and actively monitor fleet efficiency
Gold requirements primarily involve best practice measures including operators promoting the FORS Standard to their supply chain and demonstrating meaningful improvements against the baseline data gathered within the Silver requirements.
As a company we continue to strive to provide our customers with total reassurance. Our Gold status, we feel provides these reassurances that we are a fully compliant operator that is following best practice and that we are a high-quality operator committed to becoming safer, greener and more efficient.
